Royale Print and Packaging's 125 year
history traces the
development of the modern printing
industry:
1900 A
special act of the Nova Scotia Legislature established
the McAlpine publishing company.
1913 Became
Royale Print & Litho.
1927 The
operation is purchased by Lawson and Jones Ltd.
1955 Name
changed to Lawson Graphics Atlantic.
1981 Company
taken over by BAT through Mardon Packaging
International. Production facilities
are sold.
1986 Local
management group purchases the company, renames it Royale Print
and Packaging and launches operations in a new Dartmouth
facility
2007 Royale
is acquired by CTI Invest AG which is part of, a multi-national paper and
printing group with facilities in Canada and throughout the
world.
